3.) Pre-Approval and Locking your Interest Rate

a.) Once your application is complete, your loan advisor will check your credit rating, calculate your debt ratio, and submit your file for pre-approval
b.) Within one hour, you will receive an e-mail to inform you of your pre-approval results. Attached to your pre-approval e-mail will be preliminary disclosures including your completed application which you will need to print, sign, and mail back to us along with any supporting documentation required.
c.) At this point, you will have the option to lock in your interest rate. Some customers like to play it safe and lock their rate in at this time, others like to watch rates using our website to take advantage of any rate drop that may occur during the processing of the loan.

4.) Loan Processing

a.) If an appraisal is required, a real estate appraiser in your area will contact you to schedule the appraisal. We require that you accommodate a time for inspection within 48 hours from the time the appraiser contacted you. This helps keep the process on schedule and reduces the risk of your rate lock expiring.
b.) While we are waiting on the appraisal to be completed, your title work will be requested along with any payoffs or verifications required.
